Besides the Black Organization, other famous faces in the series also returned in the film, making the audience even more excited.
Haibara Ai
As a familiar face of the film & comic book series Detective Conan, however, the 26th film Black Iron Submarine is the first time little girl Haibara Ai has become the central character in a movie.
Haibara Ai is a new student in class 1B at Teitan High School – the school where the shrunken detective Edogawa Conan attends.
Haibara Ai is actually named Miyano Shiho, a scientist working for the Black Organization under the code name Sherry.
Since escaping from the Black Organization and joining Conan, Sherry has always been hunted, especially by Gin – one of the Organization’s pillars.
Even though it was the first time she became the central character, Haibara completely conquered the audience with her cunning and courage.
Gin
Conan and Haibara’s counterpart in the new film is Gin – the pillar of the Black Organization.
Gin and his henchmen Vodka are the masterminds in poisoning student detective Shinichi Kudo with the poison APTX-4869, turning him into the form of an elementary school student.
In the new film, Gin will still act as the main antagonist of the entire film.
Akai Shuichi
With excellent sniper skills, FBI marksman Akai Shuichi is a very popular character among female audiences of the Detective Conan series.
Akai Shuichi once infiltrated the Black Organization under the code name Rye, and had a romantic relationship with Miyano Akemi – also Shiho/Haibara’s older sister.
In the 26th film, Akai will continue to accompany the young detective Conan to face the Black Organization.
Bourbon
Another extremely famous character from the Detective Conan series who will also participate in this film is Bourbon, also known by his real name Furuya Rei.
Author Aoyama Gosho shared that at first, he planned to build Bourbon as a villain with a series of books/films.
In the new film, Furuya Rei will appear mainly as a member of the Black Organization – Bourbon.
Vermouth
The seductive `beauty` of the Black Organization – Vermouth will have a spectacular return in the upcoming movie 26.
Vermouth is known as the woman with a thousand faces, with an excellent talent for makeup.
Vodka
Vodka is Gin’s close servant, always acting under Gin’s command and does not trust anyone in the organization other than his `big brother`.
In the new movie, Vodka will have moments separate from Gin, acting with other members of the organization.
Kir
Another name of the Black Organization also appearing in the film is Kir, also known by names such as Mizunashi Rena or Hondou Hidemi.
Pinga
Movie 26 will welcome a new face of the Black Organization – Pinga, with the name taken from a famous Brazilian wine, like `boss number 2` Rum.
